Techex partners with Harmonic

Techex, the cloud and video over IP specialist, today announces it has teamed up with Harmonic to offer their customers leading-edge cloud workflows through Techex's class-leading tx edge IP gateway and internet contribution solution and Harmonic’s software-based XOS Advanced Media Processor.

tx edge is trusted the world over by broadcasters and media service providers to deliver streams into, out of and around the cloud with absolute reliability whether for native, transcode-free NDI transport or traditional MPEG workflows using SRT or RIST. Harmonic has revolutionised cloud streaming and broadcast delivery with software-based solutions such as the XOS media processor, which supports MPEG compressed formats as well as SMPTE ST 2110 for ingest, encoding, watermarking, transcode and delivery.
